The answer is simple.
SmartBench has a Z probe plate built in. So, to accurately set your Z height just think 1, 2 ,3, 4.
1. position the Z head, therefore the cutter near to your X/Y job starting position.
2. remove the front dust shoe cover
3. Place the Z probe plate beneath the cutter.
4. Press Z Zero on Easy cut - job done - your Z height is accurately referenced!
Don't forget to replace the front cover of the dust shoe!
