Yeti Tool CNC router sales across 25 countries in 60 months

Yeti Tool, which manufactures the unique CNC router SmartBench, has successfully achieved sales in 25 different countries in just 60 months.

Having launched the company in April 2018, the company has grown to 29 employees with a global distribution network that already includes the USA, Australia, France, Italy, Germany, New Zealand, Austria and Canada.

Andy McLaren, co-founder and co-director at Yeti Tool, said:

"Having set up the company from a garage in 2018, we wanted to create a large-format portable CNC router that didn't cost tens of thousands of pounds to buy, and could be packed away to save space when not in use, making it easily justifiable for companies to invest."

The result was SmartBench, the world's only portable large-format CNC router, that is used to precision cut wood and many other materials.

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining is a manufacturing process in which pre-programmed computer software dictates the movement of factory tools and machinery. Three-dimensional cutting tasks are precision finished.

Yeti Tool has forged successful distribution partnerships globally in the last five years and, according to Andy, the benefits are clear for everyone:

"Our distributors are in local areas to promote and sell SmartBench in the country's language, giving customers rapid support while also providing the distributor with a really good business opportunity and no competition."

Having grown year-on-year, Yeti Tool moved to their current site in late 2020 with 8,500 square feet of industrial space to build SmartBench.

The company also offers customers free access to their CNC Academy, an online platform full of How-To videos, tutorials, and detailed CNC articles - visit here to find out more.

"Despite the impact of COVID-19, we've opened up new markets in Sweden, Poland, Denmark, Finland, Switzerland, Norway, the Netherlands and Ireland," said Andy.

"By the end of 2024, we're looking at trading SmartBench in 30 countries, and opening up the world of CNC to more people than ever before," he concluded.

Yeti Tool provides all customers with free demonstrations, either in person or online. Visit here to find out more.
