What files can SmartBench read?

Details on the file type and format needed for SmartBench to operate.

File type: GCode

Like all CNC machines, SmartBench uses GCode to process your job file and drive the machine.

File format: GRBL v1.1

SmartBench reads files processed through the GRBL v1.1 post processor. This is a very common postprocess, and ships as standard for most CAD/CAM packages.

In the rare event that a GRBL post-processor is not present with your CAD/CAM package, most will have the ability to import a processor. Consult your CAD/CAM documentation on how to do this.
