CNC stylus is unique because it uses a gravity feed approach to maintain a consistent pressure on the tool tip, irrespective of any height variation in the material. It does this by allowing the mass of the barrel to freely travel in the clamp boss.
CNC Stylus comes with a retract spacer that allows 4mm of free travel. This minimises retract times and allows for variation in material flatness.
But for special projects, the retract spacer can be removed to extend the free travel up to 19 mm (click here to learn how to do that).
