Z Head Wheel Cleaning.

I have noticed the wheels in the Z Head controlling the Z movement are becoming dirty.

What are the cleaning and adjustment instructions for maintaining this, please?

They are getting dirty from cutting dust and do not appear to be easily accesible.

Hi Mark,

Please adjust your extraction rate so as to effectively remove debris from the running tracks.

When you remove the Z-Head from the Upper X-Beam you can use your extraction nozzle to remove any accumulated dust. Likewise a simple cloth should suffice. The wheels may discolour over time and use, but this is normal and does not affect their operation.

The routine maintenance operations are described in more detail on the Yeti Tool website;

Please review these website pages reasonably regularly as we are adding additional videos and documents over time which aim to improve the Smartbench user experience.

Kind regards,
