What can I use as a spoilboard?

If you are wondering what material you can use for a spoilboard, read this article.

A good spoilboard is rigid and flat. Many different materials can be used as spoilboards; MDF and plywood are particularly popular choices.

We recommend using a 6mm (1/4’’) or 9mm (3/8’’) double-melamine-faced MDF board.

The most important thing is that SmartBench can move easily across the spoilboard, and clamp it together with the stock.

Where can I get a spoilboard?

We recommend sourcing spoilboard materials from your local timber merchant.
