Setting the name of your SmartBench

SmartBenches will show up on the SmartTransfer app as “My SmartBench” by default. You may want to change the name of your SmartBench, especially if you have more than one.

Your SmartBench Console will need to have software version v1.7.0 or above. 

In the console menu, use the arrow buttons to scroll through until you see the System Tools button. 

Press the System Tools button.

Press the “System Info” button.

The name of your SmartBench is at the top of the screen. 

Double tap on it to edit it. 

Delete the old name, and type in a new name. You can call your SmartBench whatever you like. 

Tap outside of the textbox or keyboard to save your new name, and finish renaming your SmartBench.
