Machine serial number
This is the serial number for SmartBench as a whole, and starts with “YS” followed by 5 numbers.
This is the same serial number you used to register your warranty and activate SmartBench. Click here to learn more about activating your warranty.
You can find the serial number by navigating to System Information on your SmartBench Console (provided you are using Console software v1.5.0 or above). Click here to learn how to open System Information.
It can also be found on all the boxes that SmartBench arrived in, and on the build sheet that was packed with it.
Component serial numbers
Each component of SmartBench also has its own serial number.
The following table has a list of all the component serial numbers, and you can click on the components to see a photo of where to look..

Located on the underside of the plate, to the left of the vacuum elbow.
Upper X Beam
Located on the underside of the upper beam nearest the home end.
Lower X Beam
For SmartBench v1.2
Located on the side of the lower X beam, near the home identification sticker.
For SmartBench v1.3
Located on the underside of the lower X beam, next to the input voltage sticker.
Y Bench
Located at the home end of the bench, on the underside of the cross rail.
