Spindle motor

Firstly, check the label on the side of your spindle motor for the following:

  • Type

  • Voltage

  • Art Nr

You can also determine which type of spindle motor you have by inspecting the PCB.

Directions for removing the rear PCB cover can be found here

PCB Socket

The type of PCB socket determines if a spindle motor is V1 or V2.

Type

Spindle PCB version can be determined by the part number on the label.
