How to troubleshoot Wi-Fi connection issues

If you are experiencing Wi-Fi issues please try these troubleshooting methods;

1) Ensure your router is moved closer to your Smartbench and that a minimum amount of blockages (walls, doors e.c.t.) are not in-between the two

2) Pick a different router frequency - Consoles will have a much better connection range with 2.4ghz networks than compared to 5ghz networks

3) Ensure you have selected the correct country code

4) Ensure your console is updated to the latest version, updates can be performed via USB, more information on these guides

5) Try a different network or a hotspot to check for any network compatibility issues (iPhone hotspot instructions are located here)

6) Check the password entered is correct and doesn't use any special characters

7) Check for an IP address in the wi-fi application on the console, this will show that you are connected to the network

8) Please check with your IT administrator for further assistance in this matter.
