Once you have downloaded the correct .img file for your console you will now need to flash this onto the replacement micro sd card
When handling the replacement micro sd card avoid touching these contacts to prevent any dirt or oxidation from causing issues:

Install flashing software
Install the Raspberry Pi Imager Program
It is completely free to use and is directly from the manufacturer of the Pi within your console
You can download it directly from here

Once downloaded go through the standard install process
How to flash the required image
Connect the new micro sd card to your computer Choose “No Filtering” as the first option

For the ”Choose OS” option select “Use custom” this option is usually located at the bottom

Navigate to your downloaded image from step 5, select it and click on Open

Then click on Choose Storage
Select the connected card (Ensure that you only select the micro sd card to be flashed)

Then once everything has been setup click on “Write”

If you have the correct micro sd card selected for flashing, note the below warning and if it is all setup correctly select “I UNDERSTAND, ERASE AND WRITE”

Depending on the version you may have a windows explorer window pop up saying please insert a disk, this is normal and you can cancel this window.

Wait for it to Write:

Once complete click finish and safely remove the Micro SD Card from your computer

You have now flashed your replacement micro sd card and can move onto the next section
