3. Replacement preparations

What you should do befroe replacing your micro sd card

By replacing the SD card, you will lose any custom data stored on the console, so it is important to prepare for this in advance of the replacement.

If you have access to turning the console on and are on software version v2.8.4 or later please use our tool for transferring console data detailed in this article

If your console won’t yet update to v2.8.4 or later these are the important parts of data you may need to ensure you have

Job files

If you have any important job files ensure you have a copy of these, you can access these with SmartTransfer for which we have guides here detailing how to install and use

Maintenance data

Take note of your current brush hours for reinstatement with the new console micro sd card. To do this head to the Maintenance application on your console where you can see the brush use in hours.

Probe plate thickness

Take note of your specific probe plate thickness if you have adjusted this via the maintenance menu
